To date I have not healed from these traumatic events, I avoid anything that reminds me of this upset and for me it is no surprise NYU is part of the Madoff meltdown because NYU “made off” with our neighborhood and that USPS continues to lose billions of dollars each year.  In my opinion it is no surprise the USPS was in a rush to sell air space over St. Ann’s (the USPS did not notify the State of New York as they were suppose to so the state would come in and examine is this in the best interest of the community, infrastructure and environmental concerns) and even with those millions from the air sale and a rise in the price of stamps the USPS continues to lose billions of dollars each year and customers like me prefer not to do business with an “organization” than in my opinion acts as if they are above the law.  Feb 11, 2009, my Mom calls me and tells me the USPS sent back her letter to me as undeliverable, I don’t live here...scary!!!! (Friends have told me worse stories that affected their credit....more scary!!!)  Note:  During interviews about 9-11, I praise my building and I have a history of helping my neighbors, their pets, plants and the building itself find leaks etc. but I will never set foot in that building ever again.  Do the math. I lived their and contributed as a good neighbor 20 years and when looking for a place I made it clear I would not do business with any Douglas Elliman managed or brokered real esate.)  http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/25/health/25stress.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=stress%20women%20medical%20results&st=cse   I believe women that have to live with hostile environments also suffer high levels of cortisol and all those chemicals the body releases being stuck in “fight and flight” and it takes a terrible toll on their health. Dr. Amy Weshcler talks about hair loss related to trauma and cortisol.
